About The Position

A manufacturing expeditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within the production process, coordinating with various departments to meet production schedules and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in warehouse or material handler position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Math and analytical skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications
• Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Check production schedules and deadlines and adjust them as needed
• Monitor and manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
• Resolve issues related to delayed shipments or unexpected changes in the supply chain
• Track orders and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Communicate with project managers and provide updates on the status of materials and equipment
