About the position

The Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer at Doota Industrial America will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes by monitoring and enhancing manufacturing systems. This role involves ensuring data integrity, implementing quality control measures, and facilitating real-time data monitoring across a complex enterprise manufacturing environment. The engineer will work closely with proprietary manufacturing technologies to align solutions with industry standards, contributing to safe and quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enhance manufacturing systems to optimize processes.
  • Collect, manage, and analyze data related to manufacturing operations.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure production standards are met.
  • Ensure real-time data monitoring and data flow across manufacturing environments.
  • Design, plan, and deploy application menu enhancements.
  • Manage network and server operations related to manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical information effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics and Automation Systems, MES, or related field.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring data and maintaining systems.
  • Strong understanding of MSSQL Server and experience with SQL, MSSQL, Visual Basic, and C#.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI and communication settings (OPC/UA, Modbus/Tcp, Omron PLC, Siemens PLC).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions for improvement.
  • Experience in project management from inception to implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Korean speaking is a plus but not required.
