About The Position

The Factory Manufacturing Excellence Manager is responsible for developing and executing a factory-wide performance improvement strategy, serving as the center of expertise for Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives. This role involves collaboration with factory leadership to align on improvement plans and ensure effective implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing industrial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
  • 8-10+ years in a manufacturing or continuous improvement environment required.
  • 2-3 years of direct production/maintenance floor experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with factory management/leadership team required.
  • Experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams.
  • 2-3 years of project management, loss intelligence, and advanced problem-solving experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of digital tools including Power BI, MES Systems, and SAP.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
  • Food or CPG experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of TPM and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align the factory improvement strategy considering business priorities and loss analysis.
  • Gain alignment from the Factory Leadership Team on the 3-year plan and communicate it across all factory levels.
  • Translate the factory improvement strategy into implementation plans, including NCE rollout and digital road map.
  • Support the execution of the improvement plan by ensuring proper governance and routines at leadership levels.
  • Evaluate maturity progression on the factory floor and identify key opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to leadership on corrective actions for execution plans.
  • Develop the Factory Leadership Team's ability to identify opportunities for workplace transformation through GEMBA visits.
  • Partner with HR to establish and evaluate the capability plan for functions and pillars.
  • Train and coach leadership on system competencies and escalate for external support as needed.
  • Oversee the development and health of Industrial Performance systems and routines.
