The Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician II will problem solve, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on GMP packaging and serialization equipment. How will you make an impact? Assist operators in equipment set-up, start-up, and continuous operation. Including but not limited to changeover of the production equipment related to format and serialization. Build and write work instructions, setup instructions, preventative maintenance tasks. Actively influence training of employees on various packaging equipment. Assists operators, engineers, and supervisors with equipment installation, provide suggestions for modifications and continuous improvements! Validate and verify operation of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operation conditions. Maintain equipment files and document maintenance activities in compliance of SOPs and Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP). Ensure compliance of Preventative Maintenance. Identify and order equipment parts as needed. Actively participates in problem-solving sessions with focus on safety, quality, and driving efficiency improvement actions! Analyze equipment, develop and implement solutions. Knowledge of electrical: ability to diagnose control circuits, drives, PLC experience preferred but not required. Handle numerous projects simultaneously. Active participant and recommend solutions to monthly safety, quality and efficiency meetings. Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and 24-480v controls.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
  • 1 years Maintenance Technician experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, Facility, Warehouse, Commercial, or other related industry preferred.
  • Ability to read/understand piping and instrument diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment assembly drawings and other equipment related documentation.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate in a team environment.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and be available on an on-call basis as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 years experience in pharmaceutical production and/or packaging preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical: ability to diagnose control circuits, drives, PLC experience preferred but not required.
  • Job may require wearing of NFPA 70E personal protective equipment as well as Tyvek coveralls and different styles of respirators.
