About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician at AB Electronics LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the Engineering team by developing and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and product structures. This position involves programming, monitoring, and troubleshooting production equipment while evaluating processes for potential improvements. Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering or 2 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Windows OS, including MS Office.
• Good understanding of blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics.
• Understanding of basic electrical circuitry.

Nice To Haves

• CAD experience
• Working knowledge of electromechanical and/or automated systems
• Other technical training and/or certifications
• Technical capability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and automated controls.

Responsibilities

• Generate standard procedures and troubleshooting guides using assembly prints, drawings, and specifications.
• Instruct production personnel in the correct use of tools or equipment to develop their proficiency.
• Analyze Engineering change notices to determine the most efficient way of introducing such changes into the production process.
• Evaluate the manufacturing process and equipment programs, seeking areas for improved quality and/or efficiency.
• Provide daily production support to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor equipment used for production.
• Collaborate with area supervisors regarding new product introductions and training.
• Create and implement work instructions to support ISO certification program.
