About The Position

Under direct supervision, assists in engineering support for some aspects of designing, testing and modifying manufacturing operations and implementing ECN’s for assembly line processes. May provide engineering support for machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, and material handling.Assists manufacturing engineers with estimating, designing, and preparing technical drawings and developing prototypes. Assists with testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Accumulates, and records test data. Maintains test equipment. Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates. Estimates work load to establish completion dates.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Some knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Nice To Haves

  • A two year degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office a plus.
