Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Manager located in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Director of Operations the Manufacturing Engineer Manager Responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization What a typical day looks like:

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
Requires a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry.
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.

Nice To Haves

A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
Establish and improve process capabilities.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
Improve throughput in constrained areas.
Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
