We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer, 2026. This role supports the processes and development of new playground components and systems. It is a great opportunity to be introduced to engineering and manufacturability of design job functions. You will have the opportunity to improve existing and new products. Additionally, the role will work to improve functionality, improve safety and quality, and support cost reduction efforts.

Requirements

• Enrolled in secondary educational program related to Manufacturing/ Process/ Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Design; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Have a wonderful sense of humor

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with 3D models, CAD drawings, drawing details to support new product development timelines
• Develop Process Instructions for new products
• Assist with product shop routings
• Assist with data management for ERP
• Help investigate new materials and manufacturing methods to achieve design requirements
• Support the design and development of fixtures to meet production needs
• Creates 2D & 3D CAD models
• Participate in 6S (Continuous Improvement Projects)
• Helps develop quality specifications
• Other duties as assigned
