In this position, you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business at our Anniston, AL facility. This position will be onsite at our Anniston facility. Relocation will not be offered and housing is not provided. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will:

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields
  • Basic literacy in industry-specific software such as CAD, SolidWorks, CREO
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Strong communication skills for both oral and written presentations
  • Ability to work in a shop floor environment to support manufacturing needs

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical, electrical or weld engineering courses

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Modify assembly and/or fabrication work instructions from engineering technical data using PTC Creo models
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and bargaining unit employees to validate manufacturing processes and document within work instructions
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and bargaining unit employees to troubleshoot technical challenges on the manufacturing floor
  • Maintain configuration control of work instructions in both electronic and hard copy repositories
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety objectives and policies
  • Share responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor
