Position Title: Manufacturing Engineering Intern Location: Irvine CA Work Arrangement: 100% On-site Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support Manufacturing Engineering team to drive production readiness, manufacturing robustness, and continuous improvement for electro mechanical assemblies within DZYNE’s airborne systems manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with technicians, quality, and design engineering to mature products from prototype into stable, repeatable production builds under an AS9100 compliant QMS. You will own manufacturing documentation, tooling, test workflows, and hands on build support to ensure high quality, scalable production.
Requirements
- General knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering technical information (e.g. drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)
- Experience with CAD software
- An interest in aerospace and defense
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing / building multi-copters, robots, RC planes
Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing Engineering team in build of UAS
