Position: The Engineering Intern Role assists in various engineering tasks, focusing on process improvement, product quality, and gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assists in the design and analysis of engineering projects through mechanical, process, chemical, or other engineering disciplines.
Utilizes CAD software and engineering principles to contribute to project planning and design.
Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols in the manufacturing environment.
Prepares and reviews technical documents, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
Provide support in various projects as needed, which may include some or all of the following:
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure project timelines and financial objectives are met.
Assist with material testing and analysis to determine suitability for project applications and compliance with industry standards.
Contribute to the development of safety plans and risk assessments for manufacturing projects to ensure a safe process.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process sheets and work instructions.
Conduct research to identify new manufacturing technologies and methods of working.
Assist with the implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
