Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Possess leadership qualities and the ability to facilitate conflicts
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency
  • Strong work ethic, honoring responsibility and commitment
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills in English
  • Proven ability to achieve results
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement and monitor for results
  • Experience in Excel, Macros, SQL, and Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement manufacturing equipment (fixtures, tools, machines)
  • Conduct product/component simplification and standardization, including analysis of existing components and design of new layouts
  • Investigate, evaluate, document, and optimize existing manufacturing processes
  • Specialize in areas such as process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, and cost analysis
  • Contribute to and lead continuous improvement actions
