About The Position

Co-op position will be tasked with various short/long term projects to improve maintenance reliable programs. Intern will gain experience in equipment design, root cause analysis, trend analysis and process improvement activities within industrial setting. Requirements

• Minimum second year students working towards Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for this position.
• A strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, yet interact closely with maintenance technicians, production crew and vendors.
• Carlton Forge Works is seeking a candidate with strong cross functional team skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills required as well as mathematical, analytical, problem solving and organizations skills.
• Must be able to read prints and schematic drawing and have a working proficiency with Solid Works.
• This position requires 20 hours per week minimum.
• Please be aware that this opportunity is a summer‑only internship for 2026.
