As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you'll play a key role in transforming ideas into real-world solutions. You'll leverage data to design, develop, and implement innovative processes that take concepts from prototype to production-all while exceeding customer expectations. Throughout the internship, you'll work side by side with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot challenges, improve safety, and boost quality and productivity.

  • Identify, execute, and participate in continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Evaluate processes related to operations, time, cost, and inventory.
  • Analyze and evaluate methods of production and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support new business development and launch activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including production, quality, engineering, leadership, sales, customer service, and maintenance to complete assigned projects.
  • Work with a mentor to apply current knowledge and gain experience in key manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in training that includes equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Promote facility efficiency and workplace safety.
  • Present findings and lessons learned to key business stakeholders at the end of the internship.
  • Set achievable goals that align with both the business and your professional growth throughout the internship.
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university/college pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Biomedical, Electrical, Physics, or related field).
  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or MasterCam a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with solid analytical and math capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player eager to contribute and learn.
  • Someone who enjoys spending time on the manufacturing floor and gaining hands-on product experience.
  • Comfortable and professional when engaging with commercial and customer-facing teams.
  • Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday
