Requirements

• Working towards a MS/MA or BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.
• Overall 3.0 GPA or above.
• Must be available to work Full-time for 6-8 consecutive months (January-August).
• Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects).
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide college students with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders.
• Engage in waste elimination projects for manufacturing areas.
• Create and update standard work.
• Participate in manufacturing process improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing).
• Conduct industrial engineering studies.
• Perform value stream capability studies.
• Handle capital equipment expense requests.
• Work on manufacturing process automation and systems integration.
• Analyze data of manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Conduct process risk assessments for quality, ergonomics, and safety.
• Perform energy audits.
