About The Position

Your role as a Co-Op in the Energy Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in improving manufacturing processes using structured problem-solving skills. Support Operations in resolving production issues and implementing permanent solutions. Be in a dynamic role where you will improve yields, assist with quality controls, and improve process capability.

Requirements

  • Available to start your co-op assignment in January, 2026.
  • Received a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
  • Previous internship or large project experience is preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects related to safety, quality, productivity, and growth.
  • Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments.
  • Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures.
  • Assist in planning, organization, and conducting all aspects of technical studies.
  • Assist in writing Manufacturing Process Instructions.
  • Provide engineering support for other departments as needed.
  • Work on special administrative projects as directed and prioritized by manager, such as data entry and data analysis.
  • Prepare and complete a presentation to the department and for personal portfolio at the end of each work rotation showing project status and achievements.
