About The Position

Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op - Fall 2026 Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission. The Role: Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The purpose of this co-op role is to support the process engineers in the back-end portion of the Billerica filter manufacturing line through the collection and analysis of data that results in improved first pass yield or reduced process variation.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate project status and provide updates or barriers to completion.
  • Confident in communication skills related to reaching out to operators, technicians, and engineers for input or assistance.
  • Initiative to seek additional tasks or see tasks that require attention.
  • Critical thinking to evaluate situations/information based on evidence and objective data.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September.
  • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
  • Mix of sitting & standing.
  • Manufacturing is within a clean room environment.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Collect and summarize data to support or reject a proposal for a process change.
  • Review procedures for accuracy.
  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of processes.
  • Conduct operator tasks to become familiar with the steps & controls associated with a process
