Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environments
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs, particularly Excel
• Proficient in 2D & 3D drafting programs, i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming/ladder logic
• Basic electrical knowledge with familiarity with common components such as PLCs, Relays, VFDs
• Basic engineering knowledge of P&ID schematics, electrical schematics, time studies, process flows, scope of works, and OSHA Safety Standards

Responsibilities

• Design tooling and equipment for assembly and testing of our products
• Assist in commissioning or upgrading equipment to the latest standards
• Create tooling and equipment drawing packages using SolidWorks
• Manage projects for creating new processes and equipment design as needed
• Be proactive at solving problems and learning new techniques to increase production safety and efficiency
• Support day-to-day manufacturing activities
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
