About The Position
TAT Technologies Greensboro facility (Piedmont Aviation Component Services) is looking for a qualified Manufacturing Engineer in our Welding, Machining and Flame Spray areas to play a crucial role in ensuring efficiency is increased by eliminating wastes and challenging status quo. They work with subordinates to develop and initiate programs that help in closing gaps identified, thus enhancing productivity and quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading and deploying best practices in the manufacturing organization by taking initiative to support continual improvement in various manufacturing processes by reducing tooling costs, improving flow of material, and establishing cycle times. They work towards achieving the manufacturing goals and objectives of the organization. They facilitate, execute, and manage projects to reduce the costs significantly by implementing Lean, WCP, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
