About The Position
The Manufacturing Engineer position at Treitler FMH in Irvine, CA, is designed for a candidate who possesses direct experience in the design and fabrication of fixtures and tooling using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a proven team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and flexible environment. This role involves investigating and effectively resolving critical production issues, representing the operations department on multiple new product development projects, and interfacing with customer and supplier quality and engineering contacts during reviews, audits, and on-site visits. The Manufacturing Engineer will actively lead Material Review Board activities in accordance with AS9100 requirements and participate in Root Cause / Corrective Action teams to address critical quality, design, and process issues. The role also requires compiling and evaluating test data, preparing technical analyses, and recommending manufacturing methods and processes necessary to meet design objectives for new or improved products and processes. Flexibility in working hours, including some weekends, is expected to meet the demands of the position.
