Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management.
• 5+ years of experience in quality and manufacturing process engineering, or a similar role.
• Attention to detail and quality functions.
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and produce results.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise to develop process improvements and maximize production and increase capacity.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems in order to optimize process efficiency and product quality.
• Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results.
• Work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, performance, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Identify area of opportunity for future continuous improvement.
• Assist in performing first article approvals.
• Adhere to all departmental and company-wide safety and procedural policies.
• Notify supervisor of any quality or production problems.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering department with investigating and troubleshooting production related issues.
