About The Position

This Manufacturing Engineer role at Stryker is an individual contributor position, requiring the application of professional expertise and independent work with minimal supervision. The role demands a thorough understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the engineering discipline. The position is primarily focused on Base Business activities (75%), which includes providing practical and technical support within the manufacturing cell, handling day-to-day cell operations, managing equipment work orders, executing CDF, FAI, and QT, taking ownership of NC/CAPA, and assisting with safety/quality investigations and equipment validation. The remaining 25% of the role is dedicated to Process Improvement and Project Support, involving data and metric analysis, understanding financial line items such as labor, scrap, factory materials, standard hours, and absorption, and supporting the execution of improvement projects. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will mentor Engineering Technicians on technical writing and engineering principles.
