About The Position

Ichor Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys improving processes and helping production run smoother every day. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will be on site at our Sauk Rapids, MN location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned. Direct the manufacturing and engineering areas to meet plant objectives and goals Manage all aspects of manufacturing to produce company products and obtain maximum quality and profit Manage activities of several departments/sections including production operations, safety, planning and scheduling, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and facility and equipment maintenance Establish operational objectives and plans weekly production schedules Meet with supervisors to analyze and correct problems and to ensure budgets, schedules and performance requirements are met Provide technical leadership in the manufacturing processes and techniques Select and decide on operating methods Estimate personnel needs and assign work to meet objectives Manage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and improve staff Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced knowledge of production and process principles and manufacturing operations Excellent knowledge of the company’s policies, practices and procedures with the ability to work within parameters Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment Excellent people skills with the ability to evaluate, coach, and motivate employees Advanced verbal and written communication skills Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Desired Education, Certifications and Experience 7-10+ years manufacturing or related work experience B.S. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience 2-3+ years previous management experience For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range for this position is $72,800 – $123,800 per Year . Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
