  • Assure processes, including equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of the following processes: Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels, Machining, Anodize, Chemical Etch, Aluminum Conversion Coating, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Waste Water Treatment, and Shot Peen.
  • Continuously improve quality and productivity using the Ace Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
  • Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.
  • Ability to lead activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
  • Provide technical support for serving as liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.
  • Project and Contractor Management Capital Projects management
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • 1 or more years of experience in support of manufacturing operations with a focus on machining and problem solving.
  • Machining experience including: fixture design, tooling, tool life management, CNC Programming and Geometric Dimensioning/Tolerancing (GDAT)
  • Experience with AS9100
  • 3D CAD software applications (Pro E, Master CAM, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with a continuous improvement philosophy (6S, Core, etc)
  • Ability to work independently and with small teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
