About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Experienced and Lead Level Manufacturing Engineer to join the Supply Chain Engineering team in Long Beach, CA or are open to considering candidates for placement in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will work directly with our suppliers, leveraging your parts manufacturing experience to enhance their manufacturing readiness and performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for process improvement and efficiency, as well as the ability to foster collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure the stability of the Boeing production system. In Supply Chain Engineering, we seek dedicated professionals who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics.
• Extensive experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes.
• Experience working with suppliers and component manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, all Boeing Programs, manufacturing teams and other supporting stakeholders.
• Ability to present to senior and executive leadership.
• 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
• 4 + years’ experience in Production Configuration Management.
• 4 + years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• 4 + years’ experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations.
• Experience implementing or defining new Manufacturing processes in a production setting.
• Experience with the following software PDM, CAPP, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, EWITS, BWS-CM, CDS, EWIRE, E-PLAN, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, EWIRE, Equipment Manager.
