About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer is a critical role in our Manufacturing Facility, and will belong to a culture of personnel and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities. The role focuses on designing, developing and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient and economical production of goods. Assisting in MBOM creation and changes, outside vendor assistance, Quality Control, Production and Assembly.

Requirements

  • Ability to work Individually and in teams
  • Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
  • Ability to read technical/mechanical drawings
  • Ability to read Calipers and Micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in math
  • Computer skills: SolidWorks, ACAD, Fusion360, Microsoft D365 and Basic Windows
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
  • Prior Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) duties
  • Develop and standardize detailed work instructions to aid Manufacturing
  • Create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to aid Manufacturing
  • Provides input into design of the sequence of production operations
  • Proactively finds better ways of doing things.
  • High desire to learn new things
  • Highly interested in sharing knowledge
  • Highly efficient in internal relationship building
  • Drives continuous improvement and provides directions for achieving the targets
  • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
