About The Position

The position of Manufacturing Engineer provides operational support in their Manufacturing Area relating to the Business Unit Goals and Objectives. This includes driving continuous improvement activities in the areas of Safety, Quality & Compliance, On Time Delivery, and Product Cost. Your role: Be part of a Manufacturing Engineering organization of approximately 35 professionals, including Engineers, IT Specialists, Drafters, and Technicians, supporting site manufacturing operations . This role contributes to cross-functional execution and technical alignment across multiple disciplines. Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing by maintaining process documentation and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, environmental, and legal requirements. This includes adherence to company General Business Principles and applicable internal policies. Initiate, facilitate, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and structured problem-solving within the assigned area of expertise. The role drives measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Support the installation, startup, and ramp-up of new equipment and manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth transition to full production. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining required quality and safety standards. This position is fully on-site to effectively support manufacturing operations, with limited travel required for supplier visits or conferences. Expected travel is less than 5%, offering strong on-site engagement and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • You are working toward or have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Process Optimization, or a related discipline. Vocational education with equivalent technical focus will also be considered.
  • You bring strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and contribute to project execution in a team environment.
  • A self-driven approach and understanding of business systems and organizational dynamics are important for success in the role.
  • Your skills include a working knowledge of manufacturing, quality, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations is required.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with common electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes)
  • Exposure to automation, electro-mechanical assemblies, fabricated and welded assemblies, or high-vacuum and cryogenic processes.
