About The Position

Who will you be working with? Our best-in-class Heat Exchange Transfer team combines knowledge of deep domain expertise and tenured experience to deliver unparalleled product applications experience. You will partner with the Manufacturing Engineering Leader of the business unit and other key stakeholders across our organization to ensure the delivery of world-class products to our customers. How will you make a difference? As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering department, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. This role requires strong technical capability in process development, equipment programming, capital project execution, and the creation of detailed work instructions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. What will your typical day look like? Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes that improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance safety performance. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment such as CNC machines, PLC-controlled systems, or robotic welders to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Lead or support capital expenditure (Cap Ex) projects from concept through implementation, including justification, vendor coordination, installation, and validation. Develop detailed work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and safe operations. Conduct time studies, root cause analyses, and process capability studies to identify and eliminate production bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with safety and quality standards. Support and implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve productivity. Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Maintain a focus on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and process control. Train and support production personnel in new processes, tools, and work instructions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field) or a minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, safety-focused design, and Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Hands-on programming experience (e.g., CNC, PLC, robotic systems, or automated manufacturing equipment).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage capital projects (Capex), including planning, budgeting, procurement, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment design, and production systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing documentation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
