About The Position

This is a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role in a metal fabrication environment where your ideas don’t sit in a slide deck — they get built, tested, and implemented on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with operations, quality, and leadership to solve real production problems tied to quality, cost, productivity, and delivery . If you like being in the middle of the action, partnering with operators, and owning improvements from idea to implementation — this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and design practical solutions
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Effective communicator who can work with engineers, operators, and office staff
  • Hands-on, servant leadership mindset — we solve problems with people, not at them
  • Self-motivated and accountable from concept through implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing / Process / Industrial Engineering role
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems

Nice To Haves

  • Fixture and tooling design experience
  • Metal fabrication experience (lasers, forming, welding)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process and design improvements that increase quality, efficiency, and manufacturability
  • Lead data-driven problem solving using root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Complete ROI analysis for equipment, tooling, and process investments
  • Develop and implement testing procedures for products and processes
  • Participate in and support FMEAs and design-for-manufacturability efforts
  • Establish and improve engineering and operational standards
  • Support new equipment, tooling, and operation start-ups
  • Partner directly with operations, engineering, and quality teams — this is a highly collaborative role
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support on the shop floor as needed
