About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer creates and documents efficient procedure. They design tooling, work stations and material handling system used to manufacture product to our customer requirements.

Understands and complies with company policies and guidelines as described in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Safety Manual and the Quality Management System. Complies with rules and procedures of a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

1- 4 years’ experience,
Degree in Bachelors of Science, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
Strong background CAD software (Enovia, CATIA, AutoCad, Solidworks)
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook
Strong background in machining techniques
Experience reading blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) data
Experience in Syteline or equivalent ERP system

Responsibilities

Implement the Zenix Operating System’s lean principals.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on quality issues
Design tooling that improves the quality and repeatability of our processes.
Design workstations that allow TM to maintain ideal ergonomic postures.
Design material handling system that safely transports material through the value stream.
Provide assembly line or Machine Shop support for production issues.
Manage 3-5 projects with some guidance
Participate in Kaizen Events
Read and interpret engineering drawing and specs from our customer and develop processes that meet these requirements.
Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
