About The Position

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems through all stages of the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and configuration control practices
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and 3D CAD models
  • Experience with PCBA (RF and/or digital), cable/wire harness, and system-level assembly processes
  • Hands-on experience with test and assembly tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, torque tools)

Nice To Haves

  • Lean/Six Sigma Black or Green Belt
  • Experience with MES/QMS tools such as Costpoint or TIP QA/SFE
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments
  • Exposure to tooling or fixture design for electronics manufacturing or RF testing

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and fixturing for PCAs, subassemblies, and system-level builds
  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for production and test operations
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and operation sequences, following established change control processes
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, determine root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Assist in the design, build, and qualification of production tooling, test fixtures, and equipment
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and support cost reduction efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) to support new product introduction (NPI) and process transitions to production
  • Perform time studies and contribute to manufacturing cost estimates and process improvements
  • Support process validation and qualification activities
  • Investigate and help resolve production, quality, and equipment-related issues
