About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer position at Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES) involves planning sequences of operations for the fabrication and assembly of products based on customer orders. The role requires ensuring that efficient and effective manufacturing methods are utilized, compatible with available machines. The engineer will specify, design, and/or procure special tooling or equipment necessary to meet customer requirements within budgeted costs and timelines. Additionally, the position includes programming CNC machines to produce the desired products effectively and efficiently, participating in the Company's Corrective Action and MRB Boards, and analyzing and resolving fabrication and tooling issues to prevent problems. The engineer will also create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology, value engineer existing products and processes to reduce costs, lead times, and cycle times, and comply with all company policies and military and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
  • Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Displays original thinking and creativity.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new problems.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for data, analysis, trends, reporting, and technology.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement and use of Lean and Six-Sigma resources and tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, Solidworks, CATIA, and other applicable tools.
