In order to support one of our main clients in the aeronautic sector, we are looking for a Plant Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves managing non-conformities and work order creation on behalf of plants and suppliers to support aircraft production. The engineer will provide manufacturing engineering support to production, quality, and logistics to facilitate a non-serialized flow. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for training new cross-plant manufacturing engineers across multiple aircraft sections and managing the workflow for future HOV aircraft arriving at the final assembly line. The position requires running quality and timely work instructions to plant operations and ensuring an orderly and on-time flow of materials, parts, and tools needed for plant activities. The engineer will also manage the transfer of knowledge through succession planning, preparation, and training, while identifying critical points and reporting to management to avoid any impact on flowline performance. The role involves working with Europe plant partners, addressing non-conformities, and managing snag sheets raised during standard FAL activities, as well as customer findings recorded in quality and technical log books during flight line and delivery phases.
