About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing processes.
Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate with engineers to implement new manufacturing technologies and methods.
Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvements.
Develop and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Support production teams in achieving manufacturing goals and timelines.
Train and assist operators on new equipment and processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the basic job requirements the individual should have the following skills:
Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
ERP experience with overlooking labor/machine hours, BOM’s, Routings, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Education/Experience:
Associate Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or technician role.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and control systems is preferred.
Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Experience with Soldering and Welding is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however, may require occasionally taking charge of a specific project. Also, may be asked to train operators for any new procedures in assembly or test.

• Proficiency in basic math and advanced mathematical concepts related to engineering.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and interpret data.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Capacity to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Physical demands may require to occasionally lift 50 lbs or more with extended periods of standing, kneeling, or leaning over equipment while troubleshooting.
• Good vision is essential due to working with small parts as well as good color vision and depth perception.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Adherence to safety regulations and awareness is extremely important.

Nice To Haves
