About The Position

The position involves assisting in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing processes. The individual will monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, and collaborate with engineers to implement new manufacturing technologies and methods. Additionally, the role includes collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for process improvements, developing and updating technical documentation and standard operating procedures, and supporting production teams in achieving manufacturing goals and timelines. Training and assisting operators on new equipment and processes, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • ERP experience with overlooking labor/machine hours, BOM's, Routings, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Soldering and Welding.
