As a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee and implement methods to design processes, tooling, and fixtures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards for efficient, high-quality production and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will provide technical support to lower product costs and optimize the supply chain. A key responsibility will be supervising the manufacturing engineering team to ensure effective performance and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet production goals.
- Improve manufacturing processes by identifying areas and implementing cost-effective solutions to increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor the progress of team members.
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have extensive experience in manufacturing engineering or related field, demonstrating deep understanding and proven success.
- Be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Have knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Be knowledgeable in Design for Manufacturability, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and Process Documentation.
- Experience working in an Assembly environment for medical or aerospace industries.
Benefits
- The base pay for this position is $97,301 - $133,789 per year depending on the geographic market.
