About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the THAAD Program Production team. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class missile systems through innovative manufacturing solutions. As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr you will be responsible for advancing tool design and manufacturing processes that enable rapid, reliable production of the THAAD system. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international 25-50%
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
  • CREO Design Experience or other CAD program
  • Tooling design experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine tooling designs to meet production requirements.
  • Provide Design‑for‑Manufacture input and transition new or revised designs from development to production.
  • Lead manufacturing process validation activities and drive cost‑reduction initiatives to closure.
  • Identify production risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Support earned‑value management and resolve tooling or manufacturing issues with internal and supplier teams.
