Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, including process design and cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining documentation, procedures, and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design engineering to coordinate the release of new products and review engineering drawings prior to release.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacture and assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Conduct operational and methods analyses related to labor standards, equipment utilization, and workflow to improve productivity and reduce unit costs.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements for new and existing product lines.
  • Coordinate the evaluation of engineering changes and other specification requirements.
  • Serve as a technical liaison with internal teams, including program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
  • Define and document manufacturing process flows and work instructions.
  • Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistent manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain records and reporting systems to support the coordination of manufacturing operations.
