About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the THAAD Program Production Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) mission by delivering high‑quality production solutions for the THAAD program. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Requirements

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other system integration data.
Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
Active Secret clearance OR ability to obtain Secret clearance.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

Experience in Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Machining, and related Manufacturing processes.
Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Process improvement experience
Experience working with Government Customers
THAAD Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

Communicate frequently with the government customer and internal stakeholders.
Provide design‑for‑manufacture feedback and support transition of designs to production.
Lead manufacturing process verifications and validations.
Develop and present proposal estimates.
Identify and execute cost‑reduction opportunities.
