About The Position

You will be a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).
Ability to work Third Shift

Nice To Haves

Proficient with MS Office suite.
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or SolidWorks.
Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment.
Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
Ability to identify and solve complex issues.
Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA).
Previous missile or rocket assembly experience.

Responsibilities

Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.
