About The Position

What you will be doing: Provide hands-on lineside engineering support for a production line, driving improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Lead process and equipment optimization initiatives to increase capacity, reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs using data-driven methods. Design, modify, and implement machine, tooling, and fixture improvements, including installation, debugging, and commissioning. Troubleshoot and support cam-driven equipment integrated with pneumatic, servo, and PLC-controlled systems and sensors. Spend 70–80% of time on the manufacturing floor, supporting troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities in a fast-paced environment. Support capital projects by providing design input, installation assistance, and technical leadership. Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, EHS, R&D, and equipment vendors to execute improvements and resolve issues. Manage small to mid-scale projects, including CAR preparation, vendor selection, contractor oversight, and cost control. Maintain and update engineering documentation (SOPs, PMs, ECNs, BOMs, validations). Train and support production and maintenance teams on new equipment, processes, and safe work practices.
