Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field with 2-3 years’ experience preferred
  • A technical associates degree with 8-10 years’ experience acceptable
  • Previous PFMEA development experience required
  • Excellent Communication skills required with cross functional teams.
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing/Assembly experience a plus
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage creation of new PFMEA’s and updating of existing PFMEA’s
  • Analyze process steps to identify possible errors/failures
  • Provide multiple plant site support on the Rockford campus.
  • Support Plant Production and Design events
  • Participate and communicate with cross functional groups
  • Ensure the product is packaged correctly and according to customer mandates
  • Estimate cost for packaging manufactured goods
  • Entering CSI Proposals into a Workflow Tool
  • Work directly with various other organizations tracking proposals and ensuring movement through approval process meeting turnaround time metric
  • Verify and Complete Cold Start Initiative proposals in SAP and Workflow Tool
