About The Position
Emerson is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer-Machining Co-op (May 2025- December 2025) to join our Marshalltown, IA team. We are looking for someone who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this role, you will support and promote a strong safety culture, and be responsible for achieving critical success factors such as Safety, Quality, Delivery/Lead-time, Cost/Inventory Management, and Cost of Quality. You will support the development and qualification of new procedures and processes, provide a manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, and assist in the implementation of Lean processes. Additionally, you will analyze data to implement Root-Cause solutions, drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and coordinate production and quality activities to meet customer expectations.
