The position involves identifying and implementing new automated processes into manufacturing, developing new processes or improving existing ones to enhance process capability, yield, ergonomics, safety, reliability, and quality. The role requires analyzing existing processes and making modifications to reduce costs through improved manufacturability and efficiency. Troubleshooting product, facility, equipment, process, and quality problems is essential, along with designing and implementing appropriate solutions. The candidate will also develop and write operation and maintenance instructions and manuals, maintain reliable attendance, and follow all safety procedures.   • Identify and implement new automated processes into manufacturing.
  • Develop new processes or improve existing processes and layouts.
  • Analyze existing processes and implement modifications to reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot product, facility, equipment, process, and quality problems.
  • Design and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and write operation and maintenance instructions and manuals.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report safety issues.
  • Perform effectively as a team member and communicate status of work/projects.
  • Understand and demonstrate company culture and core values.
  • Contribute to achieving department's key performance indicators.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Ability to apply concepts of advanced math and geometry including statistics.
  • 2D or 3D drawing capability for automated equipment design on AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial codes (ANSI, ADA, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, IBC, ISO, DIN).
  • Ability to design and write electrical schematics.
  • Ability to design, fabricate, and wire electrical control panels.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Digital photography and file manipulation of digital images experience.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic control circuits and electro-pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of conventional mills and lathes for fabrication of machine components and fixtures.
