About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer position at Fuyao Group South Carolina involves overseeing various aspects of the manufacturing process, including conducting pre-shift meetings, guiding personnel, and ensuring the assembly of finished products. The role requires a basic proficiency in every position on the line and includes responsibilities such as assisting the manager with paperwork, logistics, and customer service. The engineer will also be involved in shipping and receiving processes, training new employees, managing inventory, and handling customer service communications. Additional duties may include bookkeeping and cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions
  • Effective communication skills with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers
  • 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements
  • Visual acuity for near and far vision, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
  • Mathematical skills for basic calculations
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software
  • Forklift operation certification required

  • Experience with PLEX system
  • Knowledge of human resources and attendance systems
