About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time AI/ML intern to work alongside Robotics Applications Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers. The intern will apply AI/ML techniques in practical manufacturing settings, contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions and developing an Intelligent Machines Playbook to advance Future Factory Principles at Sikorsky. This role involves combining statistical process control and artificial intelligence to enhance product throughput and cost efficiency while supporting multiple Product Centers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Relevant coursework in Data Structures, Data Governance, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing an Intelligent Machines Playbook for manufacturing solutions.
• Apply AI/ML techniques in practical manufacturing settings.
• Combine statistical process control with artificial intelligence to improve product throughput and cost.
• Support multiple Product Centers with data analytics and simulation.
