The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for large-scale manufacturing, planning and testing production methods, and overseeing facility operations. This role involves a combination of research, data analysis, and hands-on work to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the production of Vertical Turbine Pump. Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for large scale manufacturing, planning and testing production methods, and overseeing facility operations. This role involves a combination of research, data analysis, and hands on work to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the production of Vertical Turbine Pump. Consult with, report to, and seek direction from current Manufacturing Engineering oversight/staff with the following responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Actively perusing a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with current minimum Junior year status)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and Development • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Process Design and Optimization • Design and plan production processes • Optimize processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness • Optimize facility layouts to eliminate waste and improve productivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols • Implement and maintain safety procedures • Monitor and mitigate potential environmental impacts
  • Quality Control and Assurance • Develop and implement quality control procedures • Conduct quality assurance testing • Ensure product consistency and quality standards are met
  • Project Management • Plan and coordinate projects from conception to completion • Manage timelines and budgets • Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates
  • Technical Support • Provide technical support to colleagues and clients • Troubleshoot technical issues • Train and educate team members on new processes or products
  • Documentation and Reporting • Maintain accurate records and documentation • Prepare reports on production processes and results • Present findings and recommendations to management or clients
