About The Position
Applied Materials’ PPC Manufacturing Engineering Department is searching for an intern to join our team in Summer 2026! The Manufacturing Engineering position is dynamic, activities and assignments may change day-to-day. The position will entail the following: Manufacturing point of contact for resolving design and manufacturability issues Generate and manage engineering specification waivers Drive engineering corrective actions Work instruction creation and updates Design manufacturing jigs and fixtures Facilitate manufacturing process improvements Value stream mapping Material routing Material presentation Tooling presentation Build sequencing
Requirements
- Experience in Windchill and CREO preferred.
- Mechanical or Industrial engineering experience in LEAN manufacturing assembly processes, and work instructions preferred.
- Motivated, driven, and self-starter.
- Must be able to manage dynamic priorities.
