About The Position

This position is an intern position for Manufacturing Engineering. The position is designed to allow students the opportunity to learn and apply industrial/manufacturing engineering techniques in a manufacturing environment. This role consists of full-time employment in the Summer of 2026 and part-time employment during the school year.
Students will gain experience in:
· Solid Works
· AutoCAD
· Plant Layout
· Time study
· CNC Machining
· Lean Manufacturing techniques
· Working with all levels and disciplines in a manufacturing environment
· Project Management

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited institution working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers in developing standard work including work instructions and time studies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Assist manufacturing engineers with production projects including new equipment selection and purchase.
• Evaluate production flow and implement layout adjustments to improve efficiency and safety.
• Support the development and implementation of manufacturing process for new product development.
• Work with teams to solve or improve production processes.
• Other duties as assigned
