At AGCO, you will gain valuable practical experience that will really help you get ahead. Our Beloit, KS location, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. In this role, you will formulate, coordinate, and implement all Manufacturing Engineering activities in areas of responsibility. Internships run from May to August 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, floor layout, and workflow.
  • Willingness to contribute in a collaborative team environment, with a proactive attitude toward learning, supporting team goals, and participating in improvement efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Pro/Engineer (Creo), SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production floor during required activities and product launch periods where you will help with the development and documentation of new processes and procedures.
  • Develop new standard data by time study or MTM as well as develop cost estimates of manufactured components/materials ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance with required delivery schedules.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to gain efficiency in the manufacturability of current processes while communicating effectively with your AGCO colleagues.
  • Resource management, planning, and interfacing with other production groups including interface with our MRP system and planning group to ensure timely production.
